I could say something cool about how Fine Fools is changing the landscape of problogging (which it isn't...I don't think...maybe it is...is it?), but I can't because I am tired and tired people don't say cool things. They are just too tired. We are cool.

Chef Vault

October 7th, 2025 by Scrivs

My business partner Matthew Oliphant loves to cook and I love to run sites for no apparent reason. So what happens when you put the two of us together? Well you get a website about food, cooking and whatever else anybody decides to write about. Introducing Chef Vault.

If you love to talk about cooking and food why don’t you join up with Matthew? I’m sure he would enjoy the company.

Careful, the pics may make you a bit hungry.

This kitchen will be big enough for a few cooks. And maybe some how we can create scratch-n-sniff blogs? Hm… Very Web 2.0!

Oh excellent. Food is grand. I mean that in a non-obvious way.

An interesting “series” on Chef Vault would be specialist/topical foods. e.g. What makes good food for photographers out in the field or for cyclists on a long cycle or for developers sitting 10 hours in front of their computers writing blog entries…

You know, that whole popular idea of taking two general topics and meshing them together.

Actually that could be a nice way to cross-post between Fine Fools sites. Food is common to all of us. There can even be the What Does White Trash Eat post…
