Job Stories Site

We talked about this some in the last forum, but how feasible does anyone see a job site working out? I mean there are only so many stories all of us can tell concerning jobs so what other types of content would help make a site like this move forward?

* Stupid job postings on craigslist
* Job tales from other sites

You'd be surprised how easy it is walking around and looking this good.

Re: Job Stories Site

Maybe if it were a job advice site?

With someone with an attitude giving the advice. (Cowboy, how do you do the emoticon for an evil grin?)

Re: Job Stories Site

I'm an IT consultant by day and often find myself amused by computer illiterate users making a fool of themselves. Some of these could turn into articles ..

Re: Job Stories Site

Well then I guess I will get the site up some time this month and we can run with to see what happens.

Re: Job Stories Site

It's a great name only because I already own it and wouldn't have to bother with another. Nah you don't need a job first, just make up stories that make you seem like you know what you are talking about. You do that all the time anyways.

Re: Job Stories Site

Load it up. Make it a group blog. I can do like on gardgy. Just jump it every now and then. The blogging world is on fire lately plus Matt over at BlogNetworkWatch is keeping me busy getting ready to help him launch some blogs. No I don't write over there too. I just am helping him in exchange for certain favors. LOL.

Re: Job Stories Site

How come I don't get to do anybody any favors?
I just know I'm going to be sorry I asked that. I just know it.

Re: Job Stories Site

The site http://www.techcomedy.com/ is one that talks about the hilarious /absurd things that happens with customers and co-workers.  We could write about loser-users (lusers), annoying co-workers, how to fire with sensitivity. It's a gold mine.

For example, I just went to a seminar about being a first-time manager. One of the trainer's stories was how do you tell someone that they have BO?  I'd love to write about that one.
